Who is Graham Fairbairn?

 

Graham Fairbairn has been offering piano and keyboard tuition for many years. After graduating B. Mus (Hons) from Glasgow University in 1988, he continued his pianoforte studies with Margaret Murray McLeod at Napier University in Edinburgh where he gained the LGSM and ALCM diplomas in piano. Recently he added recorder tuition to his activities. 

He has served as Director of Music for St Marys Reigate, CFN Bible College and is the current Coordinator of Music for Christ Church Parbold where he oversees a team of vocalists, guitarists, drummers, bassists and keyboard players.  Graham was the first Music Director of "sing4Fun!", a community singing group that meets in Parbold, Lanashire on Monday nights.  In Autumn 2016, after building up the average attandance to 30, he handed over "sing4fun" to the highly capable Nathan Blackburn.

He has entered many pupils for piano and keyboard exams with ABRSM, Trinity and VCM, and for the theory exams of ABRSM. Sitting exams is optional though.
